This region is made up of doers, growers, and makers.

We aim to expand access to local & high quality foods and products, and create a space that fosters relationships between the Producers and the Consumers.

As shoppers, learning where our products come from and where our money is going towards is key in supporting regional food systems and independent businesses.

We are grateful to hear the stories and education Vendors can share on what it means to be a Steward of land, to tend for animals, to be a maker and a grower, and to be an independent business owner.

The people and communities that go into making a Market are invaluable - let's continue to support one another.

2 of our vendors accept FMNP.

We also have a food assistance program for any local in need. Program punch cards are available at the Schroon Lake Food Pantry. You can use this program every week or whenever needed. Adults will receive $25/week and kids get $10/week to shop the Market .

All things fresh, local, and homemade! Produce, meat, maple syrup, fresh bread, artisan baked goods, ready to eat breakfast, and more... everything you need!

We will have special entertainment and guests weekly, come check it out!

Both cash and credit/debit card, reusable shopping bags, friends! This is an open air market so come ready for rain or shine.

We will have SLFM tote bags for sale in case you forget to bring yours (read: “left” your bag at home so you can buy a Market tote bag… we get it, we’ll be buying one too).

We love your furry friends but the Market is not dog friendly.

Each week at the Market we have FREE kids activities! Things like crafts, planting veggie starts, making cars out of veggies and racing down our track, and so much more!

Already grocery shopped this week? Still come! We think you’ll be able to find something worth checking out. Keep up with our Market Calendar for special events… Live music and breakfast sounds like a perfect morning to us.

Bring both cash and card! We also have a Market Token system where shoppers can buy wooden tokens (think: similar to how a gift card works) from the Market Manager and spend them at Vendor tables like cash.. this helps to alleviate the credit card fees put on vendors. Plus, they make for great gifts! Stop by the managers table to buy and learn more about how these work.
